For Repair Sony STR-ZA2100ES 60Hz 290W Black Multi Channel A/V Receiver. The item up for sale is not tested for functionality as we do not have the capability to test; Unit has been inspected and the results are as follows.

Intended for Reuse or Repair/Refurbishment, not for Recycling or Disposal. The item is in Fair cosmetic condition. Upon inspection of the device, I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use.

The device has dents on top and scratches on the display (See Picture 4). All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition. I was able to power on the receiver with a standard power cord.

I was able to test all buttons and knob functionality. I was able to use an in-house laptop to test the HDMI 5, 4, and 3 ports to be working; however, I was only able to hear audio as none of the HDMI out ports are functional. The video on HDMI 5, 4, and 3 is untested. HDMI In 2,1, Out B, and Out A are nonfunctional.

I was able to test all audio RCA IN to be working. The speaker terminals are tested to be working.

I was able to tune into a local FM radio station and get a clear signal. RS232C, Optical In, Coaxial, IR Remote, Trigger out, Pre out Height L and R, Subwoofer, Video in, Video out ports and Component are untested. No further testing could be completed due to a lack of knowledge and/or resources. It is not intended for recycling or disposal. No remote or other accessories included.
