Elegant, handsome styling houses state of the art surround sound processing and circuitry that allows total integration of your home audio video system. Hailed as a first rate mid price AV receiver with all the versatility you'll ever need, yet not so much as to exhaust the user's patience. The Dolby Pro Logic decoder system powered by a newly developed premium grade chip provides excellent adjacent channel decoding and, combined with an adjustable digital delay in the surround channel, creates optimum sound localization and precise sound staging of movies and concerts. Numerous inputs and outputs accommodate four audio (CD, phono, and two tape decks) and three video components (one laser disc and two hi-fi VCRs). Full dubbing configurations and five pre out connections to external power amplifiers, powered subwoofers, or processors further enhances system capability. The powerful amplifier section totals 295 watts of system power. At 8 ohms, 75 watts per channel are delivered to the front right, left and center speakers, and 35 watts per channel to the surround speakers. In addition, the SR-73 easily drives 4 ohm speakers.
